Today I started making granny's squares. I jumped over the first steps of crochet absolute beginners. After all, I had watched my great grandmother making crochet for hours. I also had asked her to teach me and she did. I would chain a bit and after a while I would get bored and run outside to play. That was a WHILE ago, I was around 9. Today I'm 34 and feel really happy with my 3 squares! Don't they look lovely? And while I was making them, memories of my great grandmother would come to my mind... it felt like she was here beside me. What I nice and comforting feeling.
